So the dealer is saying that there is no actual low oil pressure, it's just a bad sensor? Ask your mechanic if he can do it.

He said he can and was wondering if that's something I can get it done by him or should I try dealer

I was looking for some information on this oil pressure unit as to where it's located or any similar post that could help me understand what the mechanic is saying about fixing it is somewhat right

I searched online forums and google but nothing real good

The factory shop manual has all that information and a bunch more.
Do you have a copy?

Oh had the same problem. Oil indicator came on at idle and left while driving. Checked oil level and all was good.. After changing oil and filter , problem never returned
