Hey guys. It's me again. First of all I want to thank FJT for all his information on the transmission problems I had and everyone else that helped out. It'sbeen three days and still don't have a problem. I'm starting to love my car again.
My next questions is about the frontend alignment. We continue to wear the front tires out on the inside of the car about every 11k or so. We had taken the car to Hibdons to have it aligned a while back, but it continues to wear the front tires out. Hibdons told me today that I would have to take it to the dealership because my model of car has been known to have camber problems, and that the dealer is the only one that can set it properly because there was a problem from the original factory setting and that the dealership has the new updates on the camber settings to prevent this from happening. Anyone know anything about this problem, and is it true. I just don't want to waste all the extra money having to take it to the dealer if a local shop can do it for a 1/3 of the price.

 

Yeah we have them rotated every 5k with oil changes. They have the cords showing right now at 10k on the tires. I tried to post a picture , but I cant figure out how to post on it here.

You are correct. they did the alignment without any specs. "Hibdons tire" I've since found out today that Jaguar is the only ones able to any type of camber adjustments with the proper settings, and if anyone else does it, It's purely a guess. Needless to say I demmanded my money back for the previous alignment, and I got it back. I'm having the dealer alignment on Tuesday.
