2003 S Type remote fob

I have changed the battery's in both of my fobs and the do not lock or unlock my doors however they will still pop the boot ? any help would be appreciated

The buttons are bad. If you are handy they can be purchased alone on EBay. You might want to pick up another new FOB instead.

Fob replacement

I tried to clean the points on the fob, it worked once and then no go. Where and how much ,
