Default 2003 S-Type restricted performance

Hello, i have recently aquired a 2003 s type 3.0. To begin; here is the history since ive owned it only 6 months. #1. I have had to have a key made because it came without one. I used a local key guy the only one in town able to cut jag keys. I paid $185.00 and did not come with a remote. #2. The tires were dry rot so i replace no biggy. Got thecar started. Although the shifter was stuck in park, took apart and replaced with new one and finally was able to shift into drive and so on....so the car idled fine; took it for a spin and it drove great, no issues on thee 3rd day the car began to chug at high speeds on freeway. And in town would lose power and regain immediatley, continued to drive it and check engine light came on along with restricted performance. Replaced spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, changed oil, new fuel filter, new battery , cleaned maf sensor, after all that seem to run ok restricted performance went away but engine light still on did a hard reset . engine light gone after a day all came back and car seemed as if were starving for gas. Ran the obd11 and the codes were p0191 174 and 171. P0191 said replace fuelrail pressure sensor did that and no change, changed a few more fuel sensors but nothing has changed. When driving, it will start to chug or bog down and if i throw it into netural and turn the car off and coast a bit using the emergency flashers ofcourse cause im in traffic, ill start it and it runs ok unill i come to a stop or a turn. Its like vapor locking and seems to be starving for fuel. Let me metion that the car sat parked for about 6 to 8 months without being driven. So anyone have suggestions? I want to keep the car for my daughter to drive on a daily but not like this....help

Replace fuel filter.

Remember to add some white space so we can read your posts.

Read the many threads on P0171 / P0174. Do not leave out the 0 or P.

+1 on separating paragraphs and reading about DTCs P0171 and P0174.

It is possible that the fuel pump is about to fail as they sometimes seize when the vehicle is stored for an extended period of time.

The DTCs indicate a lean condition, so check for vacuum leaks from IMT o-rings, lower breather hose and others.

Welcome to the forum Alorenzo333,

As you've also posted a separate Intro thread, I've moved your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST to S-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.
