Saw this add on craigslist. Seems too good to be true if car is in good condition. My guess is either a mis-print or something major is wrong with it like a busted engine or something equally expensive to fix. Might be worth a look though for someone in the DC area in the market for an STR.

Those could be the "before" pictures. Even if wrecked and repaired with the mechanical condition being in reasonable shape the car should be in the $10 to $12K range. I've got an e-mail in to the seller just for grins. The car color is the same as mine so it might be an expensive parts car. Other possibility is flood damage if it was a TN car.

Could also be FrankieSTR trying to unload his car. Some months ago he had an '03 STR with major engine problems. He was looking at about $10K for a new engine. Since I live in the immediate area I doubt I'll get an answer back. Too easy for me to actually inspect the car.

did not look at the ad but in your listing of features, you do not have miles. Could it have a great deal of miles causing the low price?

 

even if that thing had 120-150k on it, I highly doubt it would be 4k!!! I mean thats like 1999 Honda Accord money

Gotta love those Craigslist Scams. The same car is on the Charlotte NC Craigslist and probably half of the other major city sites in the US. I freakin hate scammers!

 

Yep anything to get a fast buck, and people see a smoking deal and think they are getting the deal when they are really gettin bent over
