Default 2003 STR Climate Control Locking - Please help

I had a coolant leak and replaced by heater core valve. Ever since I got my car back from the shop, I've been having an intermittent problem with my climate control locking. The blower motor speed is locked on 3 bars with no air blowing out. The only way I can get air to come out is by turning the car off for 30 seconds and then restarting it. I read the TSB on the climate control system locking and had a few questions.

1. How do I obtain the audio unit key code? From the dealer
2. Where can I get the operating system software CD.
3. Do I need a new climate control module become?

Thanks

1. yes, but you should have it already
2. ebay or dealer or navteq - lots of threads here
or borrow one if you can (no need to copy it)
3. unlikely but try the firmware update

Thanks for the help. By any chance, can you direct me to a thread regarding the software update? I couldn't locate anything. Also, I called up the dealer and they want 240 just to update my software. That's crazy.
