I've managed to damage the round speaker grille in the rear driver side door. When I stopped at a Jaguar dealership to see what it might cost to buy one, I was told that it requires purchase of a new door panel (and that the grille is not available separately).

However, the JTIS appears to indicate that it is in fact a separate piece. Is there something that I'm not seeing correctly?

 

I think your only chance of getting it by itself is used. Yes it is a separate piece but Jaguar does not service it except as part of the door panel.

The good thing is it's common to the entire S Type line so it should be easy to find one. EBay would be your best bet.

Even if Jaguar offered it separately I bet the price would be way too high anyway!!

What color is your interior?

I have some spare ones I can ship if you like... don't need them since i've converted my interior over to black...

 

It's a black interior. I didn't realize that the grille was common to all S-Types; that makes things MUCH easier

 

the cars with the upgraded alpine audio, which most STR's came equipped with, had the same grill, yes, except for a very small ALPINE logo on them, but no difference otherwise.

 

I found a few available on ebay at around $60.
