It is DVD based. Updated maps cost a fortune. It is integrated with other functions of the car.

That coming from someone who doesn't have factory nav...Thought I wanted it until I started reading things on here... So, do a forum search on Nav systems and see what the users that have it are saying...

It's been almost 3 weeks and the dealer knocks off $2000 off the car!

It's not high mileage. Could be problem free or a bear. How do you tell? Beats me. If it worries you, get a good warranty. Sounds over-priced, though. I wouldn't pay that for an STR.
