2005 S-type (Park brake fault,Gearbox fault, restricted performance)
If it were me, I would empty the spare wheel bay completely so I could see if water was getting in and then clean and dry it thoroughly.
IF that fluid is acid it needs cleaning out immediately before it burns through the paint and eventually the boot floor.

Body seam behind rear lights, run water onto boot lid allow water to run into channels
Then look inside with a torch for water entering near the light units.
Non setting mastic can be used to seal the body seam.

Just wanted to give an update from my last posts. The cause for all of those errors message was the TCM. The connector was not fully seated in the TCM.
Another option to look at other than the battery.

First the TCM connection on my 2005 STR is a twist lock connection. It can't just come loose? You must back it off and then wiggle the plug out.
Has any work been done in that area? Maybe it was removed and then not fully and correctly replaced?
It's funny that was the problem unless it was messed with in the past. We just don't see that problem at all.

Yes, the transmission pan was replaced earlier this year. But I wasn't aware that those messages were applicable to the TCM connection.
When they replaced the pan was the TCM connection sleeve also changed? It should have been and it's only $15 and is a very common leak. It can only be changed when the pan is off the transmission.
Was the pan replaced for a transmission service or because of damage? It's a plastic pan and I thought it might have gotten cracked?

The Jaguar service department found that my car had a cracked transmission pan during an all point inspection. I didn't have them repair it though; I took it to a independent mechanic which turned out to be a mistake. I should have gone back to Jaguar.
Yes, according to the invoice the connector was replaced at a cost of $20.

BINGO!
They failed to install the plug to the TCM properly. As I said it's a threaded lock ring and takes some fiddling to remove and replace properly.
The shop that changed the pan caused all your problems and should pay for the repairs.
It should say connector sleeve as the plastic sleeve with O-rings is what's replaced. There is no electrical problem just a transmission fluid leak problem.
