Good afternoon everyone.
I went to go check my fluids, and when I went to pop the hood, the wire snapped - not at the handle, I pulled out a few feet of cable.
I ordered a new handle and wire since you can't get the wires separately.
Now, my question is.....HOW THE HELL DO I OPEN MY HOOD??

I have the grill that is the sport grill. Like a mesh....small holes.

I'm not sure of the routing. Maybe take the tire and inner fender out. Start cutting the outer sheathing until you find good cable? Sounds like a tough task. (don't forget there are 2 latches)

 

I had to perform this repair a couple of years ago. I removed the black plastic lower valence at the bottom of the front bumper, reached up through the space in front of the radiator, and tripped the latch lever open using just my hand. Easy to do once the lower valence has been removed....
