Default 2006 stype 3.0 non HID headlight issue

Good evening. Ok...you fine folks are going to have to bear with me on this while I try my best to explain!
I noticed the other day that (if you are facing my car...it would be the right headlight) was a little dimmer then the left...(side with the air filter)
So I turn open the area to reach the inside of where this bulb is....and right before the clip..there is this small black thing....that has a red and black wire.....so I moved it a bit....and the light went brighter! Sad thing is....it started to spark!! It got really hot...so I found a safe spot...where it wasnt doing that anymore by moving it around...and closed it up.
How do I fix this issue?
I appreciate the help...

You have an issue with exposed wiring if its sparking. If you are not familiar with this sort of a fix, you might take it to a local service shop. Post a picture of what you are taking about if you can, it will help.

Good evening guys!! Thank you for responding to my issue!! The photo that you attached here isn't the same as my car....not sure if yours is an HID...as mine is not. Thank you for posting that image and taking the time to do so. I took it to my local Jag guy...and for $10.00 he corrected the issue...In the headlight....there was a little black thingy...that had the wires through it..it was the part before the piece the buld connects through......and it was lose and that I guess is what was causing the sparks.....So happy to have this local Jag repair business....in my city....he is a really nice guy.....If anyone in or close to the Niagara area is interested in his contact info....Ill pass it on....
Talk soon!!!
