The 2004 JTIS says 1.3 to 1.45mm. Does anyone know if this still applies or have Jaguar revised the gap?

If you are using iridium plugs (the best plugs on the market by far in my humble opinion, especially those made by NGK and Denso), you are strongly advised NOT to adjust the gap. You purchase the correct plug for your particular application and you install it right out of the package without touching the gap....

I been trying to replace my spark plug also, but my original spark plug treads are shorter, the new spark plugs are the same size as the original spark plugs but have more tread i think is like 12, and the original have about 6 does it matter if the new spark plug has more tread, would they still work like the original ones.

Where did you buy the new ones? Are they 100% certainly the right ones? I say again, do NOT fit the wrong ones. These cars are hi-tech thorougbreds.

I went to Advance Auto Part and I also went to to the Jaguar deal and everybody keeps telling me that the new spark plugs are the replacement for the old ones, but there's no way I can install the new plugs with that much thread, it would hit the piston. I found some on Ebay with the same part number and size thread but it says that it's for Ford Motorcraft Spark Plug AWSF22FS
