Anyway, I went and saw that the compressor at the dealer was quoted for $750-ish. I was looking online on Ebay and Amazon for some and saw that there are alot of cheaper alternative brands out there (Four Seasons, and etc.)

Anyone recommend a quality/reliable after market brand?

I installed a Ford Motorcraft OEM compressor - purchased here brand new on the forum - glad I went with OEM...

Doesn't list S-type on the online catalogue, but he has them. I bought one for the 2005 S-Type last summer. Great people. Make sure you get a Rec/Drier too.
