Default Aftermarket bluetooth phone.

I am thinking about fitting an aftermarket bluetooth phone connection. I have found two that look interesting a bury cc9045 or a parrot both of which use the car speakers. Has anybody any experience of these devices and which would be better. The parrot is twice as expensive but comes with the cables to fit it directly.

I would be grateful for any feedback about this.

I put a Parrot 9100i into mine and it was simplicity itself. Just order the correct wiring loom / adapter and it is little more than plug and go. Works a treat, and I have about 1000 songs on a micro SD card plugged into the screen unit.

Thanks for the reply I have looked at this model but I don't understand how it works. Does the bit on the steering wheel have to connected by wires or does it work by radio connection. Where is the microphone?.

The control unit is wireless, I have mine on the drivers door armrest.

The microphone is wired and directional... You can mount in high in the roof lining / windscreen join but I have mine mounted just above the climate controls. It works beautifully.

I'll send a pic or three this afternoon.

Thanks the arrangement looks perfect to me. I will be ordering the parrot system in the near future.

I have managed to buy a refurbished mki9100 for 52 euros including postage. I just have to get the cable and a microphone like yours. The dealer said that there is one in the screen but I don't know if it work very well.

I'd buy the right one, it's directional and very sensitive. There is a locking type connector for it into the units brain so only the right one will work
