Air con compressor
Hi all,
I had the air con man come round to re gas my ac today but unfortunately it wasn't that straightforward. He thinks the compressor has died.
My question is, has anyone had experience of changing one of these on a 2000 3.0 S type.
Are there any potential pitfalls or is it pretty straightforward.
Thanks
Mike

Hi abonano,
Yes, the guy checked the fuse and swapped the relay with the horn relay (same part no.).
We could hear the relay click, but the compressor did not start.
Thanks tbird6, I'll have a look now.
Thanks
Mike

Mike - freon charge may be low (or over charged) - are you seeing any readings on the manifold gauges?
