Does anyone have the correct part number for the rear pads? I am looking at getting them fro Auto Parts Warehouse (on-line) and did live chat to confirm as they had (2) different part numbers listed. Both part numbers had a picture that the pads looked different, but they said that the picture is not of the actual pads. They stated that one part# has a 2 yr warranty vs. the other that has only a 1 yr warranty. They confirmed that they are both OEM replacements for an '06 S-Type R.

I am sure you know the 2006-2008 STR lost the Brembo brakes and has a more standard brake setup. Do they show a seperate listing for the 2006-2008 STR and the 2003-2005 STR?

We don't have very many later STR's (2006-2008) so I don't know if anyone has installed the Akebono's yet?

Yes..they do have them listed for '06 - '08. Went ahead and emailed Akebono direct to see if the could confirm part number.

Just received a response from Akebono and they do not make the front brake pads for '06 - '08 STR's due to low volume.
