All Windows Down?
I went down to my 04 STR this morning to find that all 4 windows were down, wide open! This is the 3rd time since I've owned the car that I went out to the car and found the windows down.
Is there by chance a combination of buttons I may have accidentally pushed on my key fob that would cause them to all roll down?
This is a mystery to me that I would like to understand and solve.

It's a feature... Easy way to exhaust the trapped hot air remotely as Mikey had posted. Holding the unlock button longer than 3 seconds will cause that. There's nothing like having your trunk popped while you're away as that has happened more often as I put my keys back into my pocket and accidentally push the hood unlock button.
It's called Global Open. It has hit UK people where the unlock button has stuck down or been held down and they've been in range of the car. I wonder if a low battery in the fob could also trigger it but you'd hope not.
Conversely, there's also 'global close' where everything will close if the same button is pressed and held for the same number of seconds. Very handy.

Either a setting effected by IDS or not for the US market. Both my S-Types will do global open with either the key or the FOB, but global close is only available with the key. And you are correct -much more handy than global open if say, it is having problems and needs to be trailered and your trailer fenders prevent opening the doors far enough for egress.
The moon roof was closed, only the 4 windows were open. I've been holding down each button on my remote and I can't get all the windows to open at different time intervals. So far I can't get them to intentionally open.
