This is a 'kit' I have used for the ZF 6HP26/28 gearboxes:

Oil change kit for 6HP26/28/32

Below are two files you may find useful as well.

In regard to car not turning over it might be worth checking the security is not locking you out. Sometimes one problem can confuse another and the overheating may be a separate issue to deal with after you start it.

On the front centre of the dash you will get a flashing red signal and the sequence of flashes can determine a problem (at least on my older Jag).

Someone with more knowledge here might help with the code or to work out what the number of flashes means. That is, if you find it to be a security issue and if not, then you have eliminated one issue relatively quickly.

This link discusses non starting with PATS security information

Update.

Sooo....
After cold weather, rain and almost a snow storm, general feeling like crappiness and life in general, I was finally able to get back to working on the cat. Finally got the PATS code, and it gave me code 13. Missing transponder. Which, funny enough, was the exact problem. The transponder had fallen out of my key and I had no idea. (Fortunately my wife found it laying in the driveway and picked it up and kept it) So after a little freak out (and my wife saying "Is this what you're looking for?" about 30 mins later), I dabbed a little rubber cement on there and slid that transponder back into place. Fit like a glove. And sure enough, the Jag sprung to life!!! So the starting issue is resolved!!! Now for the next step. Finding that leak and making sure it's the radiator that's bad and that I didn't blow a head gasket... fml.

Mine did something very similar a few years back (not the missing transponder bit) and it ended up being the transmission cooler in the radiator had failed. It trashed the gearbox.

That's what I'm afraid of. I was able to look at the radiator this weekend and found where the crack is, however I have yet to discover where the oils is coming from. I'm hoping to be able to get it into the garage this weekend or next and take a look at the Trans Pan and see if possibly the Trans cooling lines in the Radiator broke and whether or not any of the nasty milkiness made it into the trans. Hopefully not as I am sure if it did, it's gonna be a long and costly process to clean it all out.

If you are diy'ing make sure you break loose the transmission fill plug BEFORE you drain any fluid! Don't forget to replace electrical sleeve if you drop the trans pan.

Soo... Another update.

I pulled the Transpan and filter and replaced it with the new one. I was able to drop the TCM and replace the solenoids as well finally (after waiting for more than a month for my parts to get here). While draining the Transmission fluid and the Radiator fluid I discovered it was in fact transmission fluid inside the radiator. So this confirmed my hypothesis and what other members were saying that it was the Transmission Cooling lines inside the Radiator that blew. Thank the gods it wasn't a Head Gasket. I also discovered that the transmission leak I had was from the pan itself. The gasket around it was completely shot. You could visibly see where the transmission fluid had been pushing past it and literally pumping all over the ground. It was definitely bad. Unfortunately, since the shoulder surgery I can only work on my cat for a couple hours at a time. This is making the replacement of parts a long and tedious task. I still have to finish pulling the radiator, replace it and the DCCV, then fill the transmission fluid and flush the Cooling system. Then put in the new thermostat and finish putting everything back together. Hopefully that will finish this project. Then it'll be onto the brakes! Oi...

I will probably start a new Thread from this one with updates to the Transmission/Cooling system replacement and flush. That way we can continue and it may help someone in the future with similar issues.
