Hi, I was working on my car today. Trying to read the codes without any success with ids program( does anybody know where I can get a operator's manual for the ids, not sds) when I saw this hanging out of the drivers door between the door frame and the inner panel


Can anybody tell me what it is and should I open the panel and replace it.

Grab hold of it and give it a good yank. Then throw it away. That is a tab [one of four] that was there to hold on a molded plastic cover/protector for the door panel during shipping. The protector is removed at PDI and those tabs should have been pulled off as well.
