Default Any live in Manassas, VA looking at an STR

I'm looking at an STR in Manassas, VA but I live in NC so I'm trying to determine if its gonna be worth the drive if they work out a deal with me. Trying to see if someone can swing by and take a look at it and tell me what they think. The only thing I am seeing in the pics is it looks to of had the front end bottomed out on some parking block so it looks scratched underneath but it could just be the reflection of the road, so not sure. Its an 05 with 60000 miles for 16,900 does this sound like a good deal if that is indeed the only problem.

Vance, if you bought the STR...great! The scratches on bottom of front bottom valence is everyones predicament...normal. 16k is a very good price for an 06 STR w/60k.

Thanks I did end up buying it. I bit the bullet and just drove up there. It was about 6 hours one way but the drive home was really fun cause it was in the STR. I posted pics after giving her a good wax job in the Finally got one thread. I think I may look at gettin the front end repainted anyways cause it has a front license plate bracket riveted on and I dont need a front plate and think the STR looks way better without one. So the scratches dont really bother me.

Wasn't it awesome picking her up and driving away? I actually yelled "Yes"! over and over cause my STR was the car of my dreams. Now Vance my man, it's time for a 2 1/2" Magnaflow x-pipe to 2 1/2" pipe to dual low restriction resonators to Magnaflow mufflers. My friend is painting the front lower valence next week. Just be careful when pulling up to spaces and getting too close to the curb, etc. Pull in slower. H&R sport lowering springs are going in late July then supercharger port/polish w/smaller pulley in August, eventually an ECU dyno/tune.
Have fun with your STR!

Exhaust will come thats about what I'm looking at doing. I think first I'm gonna get the 3lb pulley and the H&R's. Gonna get the windows tinted cause its so hot here then I'll probably work on the exhaust. It actually gave me a headache when I finally got to open her up a little with the gas. I was so used to 320hp pushing about a 1000lbs more what a difference. I think I'm used to it now.

Been looking at the one from Eurotoys. Are there other ones? I think I read that Mina Gallerys' was a 1.5lbs. I'll probably pick up a low temp themostat also.

Vance, the Eurotoys 3 lb pulley requires a minor shaving down of the front behind pulley. Contact Riski for this info.

Its a smaller pulley you put on the blower to get it to spin faster there is a 1.5lbs and a 2.5-3lbs and that is how much more boost you will get resulting in more power.

Yes just like jagv8 said it replaces the eaton supercharger pulley so thats the only S-type it can go on. I have not seen any underdrive pulleys for the S-type which would be what you are thinking of. Underdrive pulleys replace your alternator, power steering, etc (depending on the car), and just give you back a little horsepower that your accesories are robbing. The pulley we are refering to is only for the supercharger itself which makes that spin faster to push in more air.
