Default Anyone solve STR short shifting?

I understand Jaguar designed a quick shift pattern into the STR's TCM shift mapping, as a means for driver safety and vehicle reliability. My STR was built 7/14/02. Jaguar recently cleared adaptive memory and reflashed the TCM and ECU, and instructed me to drive her hard...Still short shifting. Anyone know of a remedy?

You posted about this already here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ve+hard&page=2
but didn't answer the question and you let the thread die. Maybe revive it by answering?

Either way, my comments about them telling you the opposite stands. Best ask them why they told you to do that.
Plenty of posts on here about what everyone else was told and referring to the TSB concerned.

Didn't realize anyone answered my original thread, sorry. So what is the correct driving style post TCM/ECU reflash?

The Jag techs instructed me to drive her hard post clearing of adaptive learning. I'd bet many Jaguar techs are not aware of this subject on the STR?

google "the lurch" and the TSBs are all ones that any jag dealer should know about. Plenty of posts here cover the issues and how to treat the car.
