I have 01 s-type 4.0 and im getting no power to the auxiliary water pump, the fuse is good and i switched the relay for one that is known to work.
Does the pump kick on when the heat is turned on? I'm trying to work out a heating issue. It doesn't have good heat even when its operating temp, it has new dccv. But when i went to test the pump it had no power.

 

It feeds from #1 10afuse in the front distribution fuse box. If power is not available then you need to look at the Air Condition Control Module or the A/C Heat head unit in the car. Looking deeper into the problem it could also be a Temperature sensor and this car has 4 of them and the one universal to both I think is the Solar and In car but that is my best guess.

 

I replaced the heater control module and its working fine now and have great heat.
