Default Bad coil packs?

I drained the tank and put 93 in it hoping that fixed the misfiring.. But it has not. I get misfire cylinder 3 and 4 about 80 percent of the time every so often get one thrown In there but today I've got random misfire.. Poor power, running very rough etc is symptoms (new fuel pump, filters and in tank filters) am I right thinking this is coil packs? Anyone know the ohms for one off a 2000 stype 3.0? I have the "report" the computer throws off when I check the codes.

Is it just one causing the others to misfire or could it be multiple?

When checking the coils - do you see any oil at the bottom of the spark wells or on the coil boot itself? If so, time to change the cam gaskets - What about the IMT O-Rings? Have those been changed?

No oil, new plugs and changed the upper gaskets. I did find water in the rear driver side plug hole (from sitting for so long) isn't that cylinder 6 though?

Where did the water come from? Past windscreen or from head gasket?

Does look like bad coils. I'd swap in say 2 new coils if I was being mean or all the coils otherwise.

Don't forget to seal where the water is coming in and also the coil cover.

i pulled the intake again (getting a pro) and pulled all coils and ohmd them out, all are .8 to .9, the good range is .5 to 1.0 right? i can tell not all are original, as they have different numbers/boots on them. i usually dont get any misfires until a few minutes of driving when the car warms up, so im guessing its an issue that happens when the coils heat up? im going to check the wiring tomorrow and make sure there are no bad wires.

Just remember that measuring the coils is not enough to find problems. Ford had so many good coils getting replaced they started pushing a coil stress tester machine to their dealers. You really can't tell anything about the coil unless it's tested in this manner.

For a home DIY guy it's usually better to just change all the coils at once and be done with it.

or... As another alternative - you can purchase a COP (Coil On Plug) tester - best $ I've ever spent and have already dialed in on intermittent misfiring coils w/o the check engine light illuminating...

Yes I have one of those too but after I saw the coil stress tester machine Ford uses I realized what I have is a very primitive device. Not sure how much stress it can actually apply to the coil but it does have a large gap and that can give you an idea if the coil is weak or not.
