I just bought a 2003 bas stype with 5 speed transmission and 68k miles. After a few days I am hearing a loud bed spring type squeek whenever drivers side erear is compressesd at low speed. I was sure it was a bad strut and spent today replacing. Much to my suprise, no change. I have done more research and I am thinking bushings on lower contyrol arms. Could I be on the right track and if so do I also understand that the bushings are not available seperatly?

Is there a more likely candidate?

Replacing the complete arm really seems like overkill. Any help would be appreciated
