Best spot to detect AC leak in evaporator housing ?
Hey guys ! I’m in the process of changing the AC compressor as the dye refrigerant showed obvious leaks behind the wheel. I’ve spent some time following the whole circuit with an UV lamp and didn’t detect any other leak.
However, there is one place that I can’t really see : the evaporator core housing in the dash.
I’ve checked from under / inside the glove box, under the little grill with the pollen filter, didn’t find anything.
Would you have a suggestion to improve my confidence level on the absence of leaks on this side, that would not require to remove the whole dash ?
