Leaking Refrigerant

Leaking Refrigerant
Hello Everybody;
(the opposite of )
Summer is well and truly in full swing here in Amman, Jordan and it feels like 37 C (100 F). This is probably why fate has dealt me a leak in my refrigerant, just because...
2-3 days after stocking up on refrigerant the AC stops working again (no error message, but no cool air either).
The guys in the shop said that they could not detect any leaks around the compressor or the engine bay (UV method), and that the leak would probably be in the components behind the dashboard. I guess that would mean a leak in the "Air Conditioning Control Module" or A/CCM? Should I try to pull it out and detect leaking dye via UV light? Does this make sense to you guys?

A couple different AC shops searched my first car for leaks without any solution. Finally, I bought a freon sniffer to do it myself. The pros had pointed me to the evaporator since after dyes and UV search nothing showed up that could be seen. Nothing showed up on the evaporator either until I turned the fan to the lowest position and then it started to sing. Unfortunately the cost of replacing the evaporator core is probably more than the value of the car.
The problem was solved when another driver ran a traffic signal and totaled the car.

+1 on that - are you sure the car was short of refrigerant initially?
Did they put a set of gauges on the system or just put gas in?
Too much refrigerant plus high ambient will make the system cut out on the high pressure switch.
