bluetooth
I am sure this has been asked before
What is the easiest or best way to get bluetooth on my 2002 s-type
I would like to have it for phone use, receiving phone calls, so I would also need a mike
We have digital transmission here
thanks

The easiest way is to purchase a Bluetooth FM adapter that plugs in the cigar lighter socket and just tune the radio in to it.
Is your car pre or post facelift S_Type?
If it is post facelift and you want it integrated then you will need one of the two jaguar Bluetooth modules, either the Bluetooth aerial or the BTUM module depending on what module you get, a d2b fibre lead to adapt the one you have. Also the Jaguar microphone that plugs in inside the roof console, and the jumper connector for the voice control electrical connector so the mic works. (The last two items are fitted already if you have the voice control module from new.)
If you want the Bluetooth to be voice controlled you will need the voice control module and nother d2b fibre lead, then when it is all fitted you will need to use the hidden menu on the NAV screen or if you have no NAV screen the Jaguar IDS software to activate it! You may also need the Jaguar IDS software to activate the Bluetooth functions on the voice control module, unless it came from a car that had bluetooth already.
It is a good idea to add your partial vin number to your group signature. See my one below for an example.

If you are having difficulty changing your sig . . . pls remember this is a 2 part process (1) edit. then (2) save.
Not trying to overstate the obvious, but I forget how often I forget!
Cheers,
Ken
