Yup, it is the same boot, the only diference being the rear light assembly... I am amazed the number of panels that, when you stript them of trim are stamped 'Ford'. Ford did own Jag back then.

Thank you all for the positive comments.
Aesthetics are a very personal matter, but I'm pleased you like it.

Just for some extra info for fitting.
I measured the length of the spoiler before attempting fitting.
At the middle point of the top of the spoiler I put a strip of masking tape
and drew an arrow gently on the tape to the exact mid point at the back edge of the spoiler. Making sure the masking tape does not go underneath the spoiler and get stuck in with the fixing tape.
Then I offered the spoiler up to the boot to visualize the actual placement.
At that moment I placed another short strip of masking tape on the boot lid behind the spoiler at roughly the mid point of the boot lid.
Then by measuring the boot width at that point I could accurately mark the centre point of the boot lid on the masking tape with an arrow pointing towards the spoiler. Just be careful what type of pen you use. Fibre pens can stain paint and ball pens can mark it too.

Next I carefully cut through the plastic cover tape on the 2 lines of sticky spoiler tape at the middle point with a craft knife and peeled about 4" back exposing the sticky part both sides.

Then its take a deep breath and apply it. You've got to be brave on this.
I started at the middle and did one side first.
Using the markers on the drafting tape to get the centre position spot on.
Peeling back short lengths of the cover tape as I stuck it down.
Just to give me more control, but its not easy. If you have prior experience of this kind of thing or vinyl graphics it helps.

But the sticky stuff was very sticky and once down it wouldn't peel off again. I tried to peel back a small section but it was very well stuck.
I wouldn't like to have to peel it off. These things tend to be a one hit job.
The accuracy on the width is important because the spoiler only overlapped the boot edges by about 5mm. So any error would show up a lot.
The line of the spoiler along the boot edge is important and that's where your own sight and senses count. My message is to take your time, this is not one to rush.

My critical eye is not 100% happy on the line of the spoiler.
But on the road and to the untrained eye it looks fine.
