Bought the whole kit of R1 performance brakes.LMK!
Hey guys,
I ordered my whole brake kit. the R1 slotted and drilled rotors for front and rear, and as well as brake pads. This is the exact kit that I ordered: http://store.r1concepts.com/Items/bo...1?sck=10069583
Lmk what you think.
I will be intalling the rotors and pads, as well as freshly repainting the calipers and probably later changing the brake fluid.
Any tricks? or tips?
LMK!
Thanks,
Paul

How important is cleaning your wheels? If you want to cut cleaning your wheels down to once every other month or two, I strongly recommend canceled or returning your order. What you brought, semi-matallics dust a ton, dust is colored dark gray or black, and sticks to your wheels. Ceramic brakes dust a lot less, dust is colored light gray or silver and do not stick to your wheels.
If you chose to cancel your order and buy new rotors, get drilled only as gas slotted actually hinder brake performance, they only perform well with exteme heat from serious racing. Rotors are that big of a deal.
In general, the front rotors are easy, the rear caliper pistonshave to be rotated back in place with a special tool. Good luck.
