Default Brake help what did I do?????

I did a brake job today and replaced my rotors. I held the EPB while turning off the car and removed the key so it would be disengaged. Got everything apart and replaced no sweat. Now I cant get my dang EPB fault to go away I've tried doing the calibrate from the other post on here and nothing still beeping and not engaging. Everything is working I hear it engage the disengage. Also I disconnected my battery so now my windows dont rollup when I hold my lock button on my fob. Please tell me I can fix this stuff without going to the dealer as the closest one to me is 3 hours and hearing that beeping for 3 hours will drive me insane. Anyone got any ideas whats gotta be done different with the STR's???

Wow ok nevermind I got in and turn the key on and off while playing with the EPB trying to get it to reset itself and now it works again. Once it started working my windows go up again so I guess it somehow just fixed itself. LOL. I just wish I knew exactly what I did so I can finish the brake video. If anyone has any ideas so I can finish the video and get it up.

I wish my windows would roll up when I hold the lock button down. Next time I'm at the dealer I'm going to ask if they will program that for me.

Mines done it since I got it so the previous owner must of had it programmed. I'm just glad it came back after I disconnected the battery cause I live 3 hours from a Jag dealer. I think I figured out how my EPB started working again but I dont want to try and replicate it again cause that would mean having to tear the brakes apart again. I disconnected the battery to reset the computer. Then I reconnected and got in the car and started it and pumped the brakes 5 times to enter the calibrate mode. Then I pull the EPB with my foot on the brake and it fault. Which is probably due to the 2 seperate calipers. So I turned off the car. I went to the first key position and held up the EPB and as I heard the motor for it kick on I turned the key off and pulled it out of the ignition and it started working again. Does this sound like how it should be done cause I did alot of other pulling turning also but this is what I remember finally making it set??
Need to find out so I can film the process put it at the end of the video and upload it to my channel.

Ahh ok so in my video should I just say to turn it on and off constantly pulling the EPB. I'll film that then a tool breakdown and start editing.

Hi Vance,
With regard to your electric window settings, if you look through your handbook you should find instructions there on how to re-set the one shot action for up and down. Did mine recently after recalibrating the handbrake.
Sorry I have not got the book handy at the moment, but you should find it in there okay. No need to visit the dealer to reset the window action.
Let us know how you get on and if required will type out the instuctions.
Regards,
Inver.

Thanks for that I'll have to look. Mine actually just started working again by itself. So I didnt end up having to reprogram it. I did find out my key doesnt work in the door. So either I have a new door (carfax was clean when I got it) from a wreck or someone broke a key and had to get a new lock. All the other ones match my key ie trunk and ignition. So will have to figure that out in the future. I have 2 keys and neither goes to the door.
