Well I didnt think the master cylinder had anything to do with the DSC but I guess there are differences. Here is one without. Was that an option on the 02's? You can also try the sponsors. I'm only posting this because I wasnt aware of the difference and I looked up an OEM one and you dont want to know the cost of it.

A rare occurrence! What makes you think you need to replace it?

Thanks for reply guys. My brakes goes all the way to floor even when you pump it when car is on, and *also there never was a loss of brake fluid*.

But when i turn car off and Pump the brakes once it gets hard instantly. I brung it to a mechanic and they said its either the Brake Master Cylinder thats bad or the Brake lines need to get bleed. Is this true?? Also in the Dash it says "Low brake fluid" when brake fluid is filled all the way to the top.

This is really a hazard driving car like this because the brakes are not working at its full potential. The brakes and rotors are about 80% new on this car. Im trying to get this problem fix asap, any help is appreciated! thanks

thanks for reply. Yep there are differences, if you call up any parts store they will ask if you have w/DSC or without DSC. The part stores dont sell w/o DSC

You need a master cylinder with new reservoir containing the level sensor. The link i posted has both new, remanned w/dsc. Wo/dsc, and with and without reservoir.... Now lets see if we get any thankyous. The with dsc valves are on the bottom of the mc in the pics and those without do not have them for those of you wanting to see what the differance is.....

If Jaguar was indeed selling the lousy two-piece capped factory lug nuts for $45 each, somebody at Corporate Pricing needs to be shot. If they are now selling them for $11 each, the genius who came up with that "new-and-improved" price point needs to be waterboarded....

Hey about those $8 fuses or $7 drain plugs. About as bad as a $85 ac capacitor for my home ac unit that is only $8 wholesale.
Or how about those dentist $400 teeth bleaching trays and materials that only cost them $25
every industry out there has things they mark up to the stratosphere, its not just the automotive industry..... Do you realise that the starting pay for a tech at a dealer is still the same(or less) as when i started 14yrs ago. But yet the drive rate has gone up more per hour than my entire hourly pay in that time(150%higher than my entire hourly pay actually)

I'm all for fair profit margins on at least halfway-decent products. But I'm completely against having customers bend over so they can be raped. This lug nut deal is absolute rape....

Sad isn't it?

It's not enough for businesses these days to make a decent buck ... they have to rape, pillage and plunder. Very short sighted.

Henry Ford was once challenged by his robber baron peers for paying his employees above the going rate. His answer was "If I don't pay my employees well, I will not have any customers for my cars." Taking it further, when the butcher beggars his employees, his neighbour the baker will starve. Likewise for the baker beggaring his own employees.

Henry Ford was not stupid or above saving a buck. The floor boards on the Model T were made from the packing crates which carried the parts. He required that his suppliers use packing crates made to his specifications. Those specifications matched the requirements for his floorboards.

Once the US has managed to outsource and offshore everything, who are they going to sell to? All of the laid off people looking for a job?

There are senior managers, many driving Jaguars, whose bonus and continuued employment depends on how many people they can chop from the payroll every year.

Can you claim that your own business, whatever it may be, does not attempt to extract the maximum dollar from its customers?
