Brake question???
i am experiencing an issue with the brakes of my 2005 Stype 2.7 diesel ... the initial press on the brakes during general driving is fine but if slowing down at motorway speed it feels as if the vehicle will not stop and the pedal goes hard
when using the brakes in multiple presses and in quick succession this also happens
is it a brake oil problem?
is there air in the system?
i would appreciate any comments which may help diagnose the problem
thanks

Sorry couldn't edit my last post but the other thing may be contaminated brake fuild if it is old as water in the fuild amy cause a problem if you have a firm pedal but difficult to stop basically brake fade, so a system flush through with new fuild would also be a choice, i would give the brakes a good overhaul, change the fuild check the pads, if glazed give a gentle rub over to remove the glazing and that the calipers are free to move.
Thanks and very sorry for the slow reply...
Have just taken car for a check up and it seems its either the servo or master cylinder !! Will find out when they have a proper look at it but unfortunately can only book it in after Christmas !!!
Will keep you posted and again thanks for your reply
