Default Bye bye boys & girls

As the title says, at least for the time being, I'm off. My Gold S-type sold to an excited and dedicated Jaguar owner so hopefully she will be treated well.

As you all know Jaguar and Land Rover are the same company and rather too often I see the same design mistakes being made by both and some of them are just not supportable.

I don't say I'll never have another Jaguar because I still believe they are a beautiful drive, but sometimes the ownership experience gets dented when really it shouldn't.

So I wish all you Jaguar owners well, enjoy your rides.

Cheers
Dave

All my best

Dave,

Congratulations on the sale. I hope you pointed the new owner in the direction of Jaguar Forums.

Once bitten by Jaguar, you can never get free. I'm sure you'll be back!

Graham

Just a quick note to say a sincere thank you, to all you guys who responded in such a kind and supportive manner.

Times are a little hard just at the minute, so to hear some supportive comments is really appreciated.

And you're right Graham, I have been bitten and will be back, just need to sort a few things out first though.

Now, where's the nearest BIG bank.....................mask-check; frightening demeanor - check; sack for the loot - check.

Right then, off we go................................................ .....

I came across a company called Brinks something - can't remember exactly.

Anyway, they run a big fleet of vans and I came across one of them yesterday. The driver was a charming chap and we had a very pleasant chin-wag as I explained my dilemma. He very kindly opened the rear doors and asked his colleague to pass down a couple of sacks.

You'll never guess what was in them?????

Only DIAMONDS that's what !!! Apparently, according to the news I am now the proud owner of 50 million euros worth of the rocks.

Now, where's the nearest quality Jaguar dealer - Paris I reckon.

See you guys soon,

Dave

PS This morning some other gentlemen came and offered me free accommodation for the next 10yrs - isn't that just dandy !!!!!

I really ought to buy a lottery ticket.
