Exclamation C1287 booster pedal force switch circuit faulty

Hello guys.
My name is peter and as my birthday present for myself I ve recently bought Jaguar S type 2001 3.0. The car is beautiful and very nice to drive. It has a few scratches and bumps but it is a nice car and I really like it, even that it drinks a lot of petrol. I have a problem with a DSC system, the light is flashing and the code I read at the garage is C1287 booster pedal force switch circuit foulty. Can anyone please give me some suggestions how I can solve that problem? Thanks, Peter.

Looks like you need to change the switch?

I would look in the JTIS to see where the switch is. It may not be very expensive to just change it.

It's not a common problem so you won't find much on it.
