Hello everyone one I wanted to ask a question of those that have a 2000-2003 S-Type with the 4.0 V8. I want to know how many miles do you have on the clock. I have searched the internet and the highest mileage S-Type 4.0 I can find is 131,000 miles. I find that so weird so if you guys don't mind please post away.

Oh let me say I do know this has been done before but I am just interested in what numbers people are putting out now.

 

That's a lot of miles to do every year for 10-11 years! Anyone who can afford that amount of fuel can probably afford a newer car - and probably did..........

 

I sold my 2001 S-Type 4.0 in 2004 but the people that bought it still come to my shop for repairs and it now has around 180,000 miles. I have another customer with a 2001 S-Type 4.0 and she has over 200,000 miles so far.

That's cool I am buying one with high miles just as a fun second project. Having owned several euro makes I realize the way you keep cost down is forums like this and DIY skills. After searching further I found people on Roadfly with excess of 200K. Anyone else here with high miles?
