Well guys, I'm starting to get the stinky smell after getting on the gas good. I'm thinking that my catalytic converters are on their last legs. I heard that there is a test that the exhaust shops can do on the cats to see their condition. Can anyone elaborate on this?

Also, what are the approximate cost for the replacments? I would do more research but I'm at work right now... Thanks guys.

 

If the cats are not working it will set a code. That's why we have 4 O2 sensors. Usually the stinky smell is rotten egg like which is H2S and not gasoline.

If it smells like gas maybe it's something else?
