Hi all, last week I had major issues. Started the car and I had engine/park brake and stability waring lights on the display. Car went to limp mode and I eventually was able to get it out of limp to drive it to my dealer.

Prognosis -new throttle body. Parts AUD1600 and labor AUD500. Drove it out of the yard and had a airbag warning. Dealer said bring it back to get it sorted. My fault for not checking before I drove out.

Today washed the car and no radio/CD or Jag voice. Left it for 30 mins and started it and radio/CD and voice worked fine.

Any one have a simple explanation - my savings are starting to dwindle with this car. Harry

 

Sounds like you needed a new battery far worse than a throttle body to me.....

 

+1 battery but may also have a current drain causing it

I have only had the car 2 months. I had the battery changed when I first got the car as it as only holding 70%. Throttle body was replaced last week.
