Default Center bolts in valve cover

I have a 2000 jugular s-type 4.0
I changed tentioner and all valve cover and plug seals. The left bank "drivers' side leaked a little on climbing very steep hills for a long climb. So I went and unscrewed everything but only
So I could reinsert the seal in back. I started the retorque the two center screws and I can't finger them into any thread. Is there something that might have fallen out of head that makes me have to take the whole thing apart again.

I found the problem. These head threads break off and the bolts snap off way to easy. Good thing the new seals are keeping the oil from entering the plug wells.
I had to drill out a part of one bolt that broke off and I need new threads and bolt on the other side. I wonder what size of these bolts are and if I can get one that's 1/8 inch longer. Does anyone have experience with these bolts inside the cam cover. Or the best way to create new threads in the aluminum head.

I found the the thread making kits and just ordered 4 new bolts . Now I need the bolt size so I can get the correct thread size. Back to the Internet !
