Center Console Wiring Question
While doing some advanced research on my 2005S-Type for a Parrot MKi9200 Bluetooth kit install, I pulled the tray out of the center console (where second cigarette lighter is) and saw a wiring loom with two plugs. They are not connected to anything. One is a small plug with a single wirefixed to the driver side, rear portion of the console. The other is a multi-wire plug fixed to the passenger side rear portion of theconsole. There are10 pins, but only9 areused as is missing. From the multi-wires it appears that it may be related to the audio system. Some of the wire colors are orange w/ blk stripe, white, blue or turquoise, greene w/ blk stripe.
Anyone know the function of these two plugs?

I can't help, but I pulled my A pillar covers off because the fabric came off and found two wires connected to nothing running up the A pillars. I don't know what they're for, but I guess it's not uncommon to have unconnected wires.
Just looking at the accessory catalog....I bet these connections arefor the Rear Seat Connectivity System. Seems to make sense with their location and the monting location of the Connectivity System.
Take care,
George
