I think that on the front doors that both need to reach the locked position or in my experience it will just keep trying to lock and then unlock since my passenger front door cannot reach a locked position.

Rick, since you have been into the doors and dealt with these actuators, can someone just disconnect only the power to the actuator only or is is tied to other items in the door and would the disconnection cause the security system to act funny or then start create warnings ect?

I can manually lock each door no problem, but when I do it does the electrical noise for all 4 doors. Any door.

I just went out to my car. With no key in the ignition and all 4 doors unlocked when I locked the rear 2 manually (separately)- nothing happened to any other door. When I went to the driver's front door it attempted to lock all 4 doors, but since the passenger door will not lock automatically it kept trying until I stopped it by manually locking the passenger. When I went to passenger front door- and manually locked it locked all 4 doors and unlocked all 4 doors. When I used the button on the center console it tried to lock all 4 doors, but could not get a lock on the passenger front and just kept opening and closing the other 3 until I put an end to it.

Ok, at the auto electric shop and they say they have to replace all 4 door lock actuators. Anyone have all 4 for sale or know a good price to get them in the USA?

Just to be certain. If all the doors are unlocked and then with the driver's door closed you attempt to lock all 4 doors with either the lock on the driver's door or the center console locking button- none of them attempt to lock and then unlock due to other's that will not lock. When by rear door ones went out on mine the locking mechanism would work normally, but just not lock the rear door that had an actuator that was out. It would lock the other 3.

Anyone take apart an actuator? Ordered 4 used ones that the company out California said are working to find out when the mechanic installed 3 so far, one was completely dead and the other two didn't work. So far the company would take them back for a refund, but I already now owe the mechanic around $300 labor. So we decided to take one of mine apart and noticed the big yellow gear in it has a metal piece in a slot on it to move the lock/unlock. And it was cracked at that point and the metal "cam" piece fell out. A stressful joint from locking and unlocking would eventually break the plastic there. Very bad design. Now just have to try and fix things because at $300 each new, not an option for me. I would think some company would rebuild these.

I have a few new ones that I bought years ago and some working used ones (including I think one new USA spec door latch) but they're all for the front doors. Not sure if you could check the working condition by simply plugging them in to the loom?
Feel free to pm me.
