Hi all.

Picked up my 1999 3.0 s type in alpine metallic.

I have an issue with the central locking.

When I lock it with the fob it locks then immediately unlocks, lock it with the key and it's locked.

Any ideas what it could be???

 

I have the same issue with mine - Andy, did you find a solution. It does lock about once every ten attempts!

Sounds like a lock actuator has failed.

Get into vehicle close doors and either use fob or door lock button located in console, lock doors. One of the lock levers will not lock correctly, there is your problem.
