Default Changing interior light bulbs ?

I would like to replace the interior light bulbs - above the driver with a couple of those neon blue LED units

But I cant figure out how to remove the cover I don't want to stick in a screwdriver and lever off the plastic cover in case I end up cracking it. Anyone know the technique ?.

i'd advise against it, i had blue leds in one of my cars and it looks good till you need to look for something in the car, or read a map, or look for change as the blue light makes everything look the same colour.

here is a pdf of JTIS 1999 interior light removal

Hope this helps

I suggest you also install side vents stickers to go with the blue neons!!!! Anyways Have them LED white for better visual! thats just my opinion

I noticed the whole unit moved slightly, it's LED panels I have, don't think they will fit in the holders - I'll try tomorrow.
