charging battery

Help!!
Icannot access my trunk on my 2000 S type and need to charge my battery. Is there a place to put the hot jumper other than the battery or can one use a cigarette lighter charger?

You can open the trunk with the key, the hole is up behind the U of Jaguar on the trunk lid.

If you only have valet key, open the hood and in the fuse box you can put a positive jumper to the single pin in the top row of fuses then ground on the shock.
