You can... Find a grille from an 00-02. It should bolt right in...

Hiback George, yes the trade in number plates was all private at one time but the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority) has been in on the act for a while now. Three digit number ones, eg. DK 1., can fetch upwards of £25,000, four digits can fetch over £10,000. It's easy to transfer your personal number plate here to another car. Irish plates are popular among the less well-heeled, CAZ and RAZ plus four digits are common.
Apart from all that, the number plate stays WITH THE CAR, hopping from owner to owner on a document from DVLA called "the V5" until it's final demise at the scrapyard.
Leedsman.
p.s. The car that carries the Queen has no number plate. It's the only such one. No number plate at all is REAL one-upmanship.

Funny thing is...a 00-02 grill is actually a different shape than the 03 and up grill..the two won't cross over...

Do you go to FinalGear.com ?? They put up the full length episodes the day after they air. No worry about commercials and the editing that BBC America does to fit the commercials in....They also have all the specials.

I too have all the episodes!

Won't an NA spec hood have the holes for the leaper in it already?

And I thought they 00 - 04 nose was the same. Its odd in that I think I have an 05+ grill (with badge) on my car at the moment. I'm not sure.

And that's awesome on the top gear thing!
