Default Cleaning the oily heat exchangers

Ive seen posts about cleaning. Ive read the debates on what oil in the intake tract can do. So since im this deep, why not clean em.

Heres some before and after pics

So that was one soak. Most came off. Doing a second soak now.

Found both upper intake gaskets were damaged (split) when I took the heat echangers off.

very nice....when you are finished with all repairs, i bet you will have to get new tires.....your hp will be factory or better....thanks for all of your step by step info as you go

Wow. These intercoolers are DIRTY. IVE SOAKED IT IN CARB DIp. used carb cleaner, engine degreaser. Water. And more just keeps coming out. When the darkness stopped I can see the light!!
