Been a hard January
Two friends killed in car accidents
One work mate committed suicide on the job
So my head has been spinning around
but now time to get my ac working
This is what i have found out
Brand new dccv from jaguar nz was faulty so damaged heater control module beyond repair
I have found another heater control module in New Zealand
But it is from a Diesel s type
Dose anyone know if they work in the petrol s type or are they completely different

I don't know whether you have the basic panel or the remote module (with nav screen). Options such as heated windshield make a difference, too. Part numbers are here and you can see which are applicable to each model:

Hi sorry for late response
had a couple of funerals to attend
this is what I have been told
The climate control module needs to be the same numbers as the original
Diesel ones will not work
My vehicle is a x202 so climate control module has to be from a x202
This is the mistake I made as the one i replaced earlier last year was from a X204 Diesel
