codes are fun?
i have a 2001 s-type 3.0
i have code 1388 coming up, one other time i had 1383 and 1388...
i checked the solenoid on the left bank and it looks fine.. the next step according to jtis is to:
"Disconnect the left-hand variable camshaft timing oil control solenoid PI4.
Measure the resistance between the variable camshaft timing oil control solenoid electrical connector PI4 pin 1, (GW) and pin 2, (WP).
Is the resistance between 5 and 20 ohms?"
what is solenoid "PI4" where are the pins on the connector?
is this speaking of the 2 pins on top of the solenoid where the connector goes...
if you could give me some details on the next few things to check it would be greatly appreciated
