I'm not an S-Type driver but I love the colour of the S-Type race car:



Does anyone know the proper name for this colour? I am tempted to paint my XJ in exactly this colour after someone caused an impact at the front...

i'll take the 220 next to it.

 

It isn't really that close. I have seen the S-Type colour in person and that Camaro green too. They are a good bit away from each other. The Jag having a kind of "flip flop" effect, where it will changed back and forth...

 

I don't think that this a factory colour.

 

Jaguar corp / heritage may have details if asked nicely. Nearest green I know they did was Emerald Fire.

Emerald Fire seems a bit too blue... Frustrating!

 

I expect that was the same colour as that used on their F1 cars.
