Default Coolant Leak "Valley Hose"

Hello,
I have a 2006 S-Type R. There is a coolant leak coming from the back of the engine. My mechanic who works on my Porsches said he can do the job. He is going to remove the upper portion of the motor, to get access the the valley. He asked me to get a list of ALL the parts needed to be changed out while he has it torn apart.
Does anyone have such a list ?

Be careful about any such lists because many of them are specific to your vin # I just had this job done and my mechanic who work for Jaguar at their headquarters in NJ for 17 years did his best to assemble a list and we still had to send stuff back and get something else. The EGR vale and it's pipe to the RH header is liable to be the hardest thing to remove but you need to replace that while you're at it (WYAI). I replaced every hose even though the only bad one was that FRICKIN' under the SC hose. I'm on several of the threads and have pretty decent description on one of them. My repair finished in late September. The climate control valve is a Motorcraft part and often made by BOSCH. I didn't replace the inter cooler coolant pump.

You can order the parts form the UK and their shipping is both reasonable and fast. It's cheaper than the dealership but my shop matched the price after I had put a "list" together that was mostly correct. The online catalog is not user friendly and diagrams are 3rd rate. My mechanic had worked on so many jags that he spotted some of the problems but even he had trouble with it too.

Just thinking out loud, with zero experience on the SC engine. For this dreaded hose failure, is it possible to leave the damaged hose in place under the supercharger and route a new hose in a less hostile environment? The new hose would have to be a little bit longer, of course.

the hose that connects to the water outlet can be run in between the charge cooler gap between it and the charger. The other hose cannot because it goes to a nipple underneath the big water elbow. I did the bypass on my car and it worked great. Unfortunately when that one was fixed and holding pressure the other hose blew 3 days later so off with the charger anyway. I cannot remember if the bypassable hose goes to the throttle body or egr valve. Sorry

On my car it was the larger end piece that failed the other half was just fine. I had him substitute a high quality silicone coolant hose for that piece hoping that it will last log longer than 68K miles. I seriously doubt that I'm going to drive it past 136K miles anyway.

I post this a lot?
Your car has about 23 cooling hoses. I know I had a 2005 STR.
You need to understand your car is now 17+ years old and ALL of those rubber cooling parts have deteriorated and need replacing. So plan to remove the SC and do the repair properly. Then use that as a reason to replace ALL the other hoses. You will have everything apart and labor will be the largest cost of this repair.
I would add the DCCV (Are you aware of that?) since it is almost guaranteed to fail 100% of the time and it needs to be removed to replace the cooling hoses anyway.

You don't give us any mileage either? So consider adding a water pump change because when I finally did the under SC hose on my 2005 STR at 130K miles the first drive I took had coolant pouring out the front of the motor. Yep the water pump (which I had NOT replaced) decided it was time to leak!

Here is the problem if you don't? As the hoses fail one by one you will be continually going back in and redoing work you have already done to get to the leaking hoses.
We have dozens of threads with pictures of this big repair if you do some searches.

It's VERY expensive to own a used Jaguar if you can't DIY the repairs!
