Default Coolant Leak @ O-Ring?

Hey, first post.
I searched and found other people had the same problem, but I can't find a part number for this o-ring:

Or can I just use a generic o-ring that will fit?

Thanks

Drak, your local auto parts store should have a nitrile (aka, Buna-N) o-ring that will fit the bill in this case. This type of o-ring is good for up to 120C. So, it will be right at the top end of its normal operating limits. So, you will be fine. They may have some high temp o-rings right in the store that would do what you are after.

The big thing is making sure you have the right size o-ring. You want an o-ring that has the same amount of rubber to it. Yes, the inside and outside diameters are important, but you can fudge those a little bit. The diameter of the ring itself is key as this is what does the actual sealing.

Thanks guys. I completely overlooked the temperature rating, bought a nitrile type ring and so far no leaks!

Default o ring

I bought 6 of these at jag. I have the numbers for them at home. I think all 6 ran me 10 bucks.
